American Petroleum Institute (API)
The American Petroleum Institute (API) is an oil and natural gas industry association representing all parts of the natural gas and petroleum industries in the United States. The American Petroleum Institute covers all aspects of oil and gas including finding, producing, processing, and the transportation and selling of natural gas, gasoline and heating oil. Through the API you can learn about and receive information on API standards and API certifications, including RP 2D, 9A and 9B.
