Associated Wire Rope Fabricator (AWRF)

The Associated Wire Rope Fabricators, AWRF, promotes the interests of sling fabricators, the rigging securement industry, load securement industry and special rigging components manufacturers as well as other industries dealing with rigging, lifting and load securement. Manufacturers and distributors are able to join the Associated Wire Rope Fabricators industry association. The AWRF promotes topics including manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, rigging and load securement products. Among those products are electric wire rope hoists, galvanized wire rope, Bridon wire rope and American wire rope as well as other products made from chain, rope and synthetic materials. The AWRF distributes information to help develop safety standards and operation protocols in these areas and industries.

AWRF Membership

Membership to the Associated Wire Rope Fabricators is divided into Regular member, Manufacturing Member, Sponsor Member and Affiliate Member.  Members staff the eight operation committees including the convention site, entertainment, government affairs, insurance & legal resources, membership, programs & PIE, safety, scholarship and technical committees.  The Safety Committee is chaired by BLP President & COO Jeff Bishop.

The AWRF offers a quarterly newsletter called Slingmakers.  The content includes a message from the AWRF President, news about members, and updates from each of the committees.  Contact the AWRF for samples issues if interested.
