What is Fall Protection?
Fall protection systems are safety equipment that is used to protect workers in treacherous situations and environments, providing some assurance of protection in the event of a fall. These fall protection systems include safety harnesses, netting systems, body belts, lifelines and confined space descent equipment. The four major sectors that use fall protection equipment include:

Types of Fall Protection Equipment

• Lanyards: Include a controlled tearing action, limiting arresting forces to 900 lbs. or less.

• Self Retracting Lifelines: All lifelines meet or exceed industry standards, including OSHA and ANSI Z359.
