Wire Rope Clamp and Thimble
This product provides simple, efficient wire rope coupling using a basic design for extraordinary holding power. The clamp and thimble use a rugged construction for longer service and less down time. When properly assembled and torqued, this clamp develops up to 75 percent of catalog listing’s wire rope strength.
Swivel Hook
The swivel hook has a swivel eye for the sling that permits loads to turn freely without twisting the wire rope or chain. The yoke is manufactured of manganese bronze alloy and the hook, eye and nut are forged and heat treated.
Bale Hook
The design of the bale hook is meant to allow full throat opening and to keep the hook from catching on projections or ledges. The yoke is made of bronze alloy and prevents the hook from spreading when under loads. Eye hook is made of standard drop forged alloy steel.
Shank Hook
Newco’s Shank Hook has a full throat opening and a straight shank that allows for machinery flexibility. Customers can choose either a machined shank or threaded to your specifications. Crafted from manganese bronze.
Sling Saddle and Protector
This product was developed to protect square cornered loads and to extend the life of wire rope slings. Users can easily move and adjust the saddle by hand, as it is lightweight and made of manganese bronze alloy.
Standard Choker Hooks
The standard choker hooks include clean and smooth castings, which help avoid cutting and chaffing the slings. They can be attached directly to the end of a sling rather than the main body, allowing the main part of the sling to be free of fittings.
Boom Pendant Thimbles
This product by Newco is designed with a Flemish eye splice and swaged steel sleeves that fit around a pendant fitting that can be either open or closed. These boom pendant thimbles are not intended to be used for any other purpose than boom pendant application. They are interchangeable with standard sockets.
Slip-Thru Thimbles
Slip-Thru Thimbles allow for the passage of an identical thimble through the eye, which is necessary when a regular sling is being used as a choker sling. The design prevents the eye of the sling from rubbing together and wearing the top of the eye excessively. Rope retention ears are tapered on these thimbles so that they can be bent peened over the rope.
Aluminum Duplex Ferrules
Newco manufactures ferrules and buttons with extruded and heat treated materials, which are best for cold forming properties. These products are ideal for nonrusting, permanent splices. The return eye splice with Newco Aluminum sleeve will achieve 95 percent of Improved Plow wire rope catalog strength, when they are properly swaged.
