Twin-Path® and Sparkeater® Synthetic Slings
All Slingmax® synthetic slings are built to be extremely abrasion resistant. Fabricated with high performance K-Spec® fibers and Covermax® bulked nylon outer cover, these synthetic roundslings are used around the world in place of chains and wire ropes for safely handling heavy lifts. The Twin-Path® patented design was created by Slingmax® to provide stronger inspection and safety standards for riggers, who often noticed a shortfall in single path roundslings. Besides featuring fiber optics for easy inspection, these synthetic slings also provide the user with backup protection if the primary path is cut. The Slingmax® roundslings fabricated by Bishop Lifting Products come in a wide selection of lengths, which assures the perfect sling for any lifting project.
All Slingmax® synthetic roundslings fabricated by BLP include an innovative Check-Fast™ inspection feature, which is designed to even further improve project safety. This system provides a highly visible pass/fail inspection of the internal cord bearing yarn; as the rigger only has to check for the visibility of the Check-Fast™ Tag and External Warning Indicator (EWI) on the roundsling product before the lift.
For rigging jobs in hot environments, the Sparkeater® synthetic sling is ideal for successfully lifting the load without damaging the surface. The Sparkeater® slings are constructed of high performance Aramid core yarns and have been professionally tested to be as suitable as wire ropes and chains for offshore oil applications.
Wire Rope Slings
Riggers often need strength along with flexibility, which is why Slingmax® rigging has engineered an entire line of durable wire rope slings. The Tri-Flex® wire rope sling is a three part roundsling that efficiently replaces single part slings and is used in any type of heavy lifts, including steel erection. Slingmax® is committed to listening to actual riggers in the field and responding to their needs, which is how the Gator-Laid® and Gator-Flex® multipart slings were created. Developed in conjunction with oil riggers, these products have become the industry standard for wire rope slings. Slingmax® and Bishop Lifting Products have also considered projects that require short heavy lifts. The Gator-Flex® Nine Part Grommets provide users with all of the benefits of standard multipart slings, with a load to sling body diameter ratio of an impressive 5:1.
