Crane & Rigging Inspection & Testing
BLP Services offers inspection and testing of slings, loose lifting gear, hoists, cranes, lifting devices, and miscellaneous lifting equipment in accordance with ASME B30, API, OSHA 1910/1926, CMAA 70/74, current industry standards, and manufacturer’s recommendations. All standards define a minimum frequency of inspections dependent of what type of lifting equipment is being inspected. Our services include sling and loose lifting gear, overhead crane, jib crane, bridge crane, and pad eye inspections and testing. BLP Services “Rigging Gear Registry” of inspections includes a detailed paper and electronic documentation, with the corresponding standards.
Crane & Rigging Maintenance & Repair
BLP Services offers preventative maintenance and repairs on all major brands of hoists, cranes, blocks, and winches. We also are qualified to repair all types of slings and lifting devices. All required equipment is proof tested, painted, and tagged before being put back into service. Our thoroughness is reflected in our repair procedures, attention to detail, and the final inspection process.
Crane & Rigging Staffing & Consulting
BLP Services offers on-site crane technicians, rigging inspectors, and lifting consultants for project oriented work or extended service jobs. BLP Services has many partnerships with customers to staff crane technicians, inspectors, and clerks full time. Staffing allows you to optimize labor forces and allows BLP Services to become familiar with your equipment and requirements. Our strength is our flexibility, experience, and reputation.
